Richard
Grosvenor paints in both watercolors and oils, and his
subject matter includes urban and rural landscapes and architectural
studies. His speciality is New England coastal scenes. His
paintings have been purchased by institutions and corporations,
and are in numerous private collections. Grosvenor was selected
as the Rhode Island Artist for the White House Historical
Society Calendar for the year 2000.
He is
active teaching and lecturing at the Newport
Art Museum, and painting at the Spring
Bull Studio/Gallery at 55 Bellevue Avenue, Newport, Rhode
Island.

Linda
Werbner provided and edited content for this website.
Linda
Werbner is a third generation American with proud roots
in Russia and Belarus. She teaches English to immigrants
as well as international students and especially loves working
with Russians because they are such literate, cultured people.
In the Peace Corps, Linda taught English in the Western Russian
city of Lipetsk, a city which hosts great metallurgical plants
as well as farms. As a writer, she worships at the altar of
Gogol and Babel and hopes to return to Russia someday to live,
work and hear this beautiful language 24-7.
